18 Days Later: Part One

Nathan wanted to start a blog, then... everything went black until.............. EIGHTEEN DAYS LATER
(rip off of 28 days later)

PART ONE: THE AWAKENING

Nathan awakes from his coma. He scans his suroundings confused and lost. White room, tan sheets, bright white lights, and clothes everywhere.
He wonders if he is dead...
"I wish I was dead", he thinks.
He stands up and pushes the door. Locked. He wonders how he could ever possible escape, and then he pulls the door open.
He is amazed he ever figured that one out...
"Damnit, I always do that!"
Everything seems dead as he wanders out the door, no cars are driving, no people are playing outside, nothing moves but the wind.
He wonders if this could be the apocolypse....
"Why does class start before people even wake up?"
Little does Nathan realize that things only seem quiet in this little town in suburbia; Soon he will be wishing people were asleep... soon, he will regret ever getting out of bed at all.......
